By plane
Brussels Airport (28 km from leuven)
Leuven is located approximately 15 minutes drive from the Belgian National Airport of Zaventem. The airport has its own train station (Brussels National Airport), with direct trains to Leuven. The station is underneath the airport and is accessed via elevators and escalators in the arrival hall. Several car rental companies also operate from Brussels Airport.

Brussels South Charleroi Airport (90 km from Leuven)
Brussels Charleroi South airport is approximately one hour drive from Leuven. If you land here, you can take the bus to Charleroi railway station and take a train from there to Leuven. Several car rental companies also operate from Charleroi Airport.

By train
From The Netherlands, western part of Germany, Northern part of France, and the UK, Leuven is easy to reach by train. Leuven is a 20-30 minute train ride from Brussels, 45 minutes from Antwerp and 30 minutes from Liège/Luik/Lüttich.
Note that connections to the Eurostar Terminal at Brussels South/Midi are approximately 30 minutes.

By car
Leuven is located at the junction of two important motorways: the E40 (towards Brussels or Liège/Luik/Lüttich) and the E314 (towards Hasselt, Maastricht, Aachen).

If you come by car to the meeting hall, please park at “Parking De Molen” and use the parking code: “3019#” to enter the parking lot (don’t forget the #-sign).

By bus
For transportation within Leuven, there are various bus lines that can get you around. Please check the website of bus company De Lijn for details. Note that a 10-ride “lijnkaart”, which can be purchased at the station or at selected shops, gives you approximately 50% discount compared with single rides.
